Bought 2 years ago. Button mechanism, can be raised up as much as you want to, up to almost fully horizontal position.
Was in the apartment with the dog, so not recommended if you're allergic, as faux leather is hard to clean.
Otherwise in good condition, was covered by the blankets 90% of the time
