Description:
The Osann Junior Isofix is a child car seat, and is suitable for the secure transportation of children aged between 3 and 12 years old (15-36 kg). The seat has been tested and approved in accordance with the currently valid ECE R44/04 European regulation
This seat design is commonly referred to as a booster seat, or just a booster - booster seats are intended for the period of time when kids have grown out of their "big" car seats, but are still too small to travel in a car without a restraint system. In particular, a booster seat ensures that the safety belt sits at the right height and does not pass across the throat.
The special feature of the Junior Isofix is that, as a hybrid solution, it can be installed in the car either with or without the Isofix connection, and thus offers unique advantages:
1. The Junior and the buckled-in child always remain in position in the event of an accident, when braking, or when performing brisk manoeuvres.
2. The seat remains in its position even when there is no child in it, and therefore cannot become a hazardous "projectile" inside the car in the event of an accident, when braking, or manoeuvring.
3. The hybrid solution enables installation on seats either with or without Isofix fittings. The Isofix connectors are simply folded in when not in use.
