The Anytone AT-D878UV PLUS is an advanced dual-band radio that operates in the 136 to 174 MHz VHF and 400 to 480 MHz UHF frequency range. This radio is designed for professional and amateur use. It features one transceiver and two VFOs (VFO A and VFO B). Each VFO can be configured by frequency and modulation type (digital or analog). The display can simultaneously show both VFOs and their operating mode. Switching is accomplished using an assignable function key. The radio has five such keys (including a blue Alarm key). Each function key can have two user-selectable assignments (short or long press).
The radio features ROAMING, TALKER ALIAS, D-APRS, and APRS (analog), making it one of the most unique and versatile portable dual-band radios in the world.
This is a modified version of the Anytone AT-D878UV with a built-in Bluetooth module, allowing voice calls using a wireless headset, headphones, or a car audio system. A wireless Bluetooth PTT button is available as an accessory. It conveniently switches between receiving and transmitting without using a standard PTT button or VOX technology. This makes it suitable for both professional services and amateur radio operators. A special operating mode is available for professional services.
