Selling a vintage Paiste 2002 20" Ride, dated by the serial number and stamp style to the mid/late 1970s–early 1980s. This would have originally been a Black Label era cymbal, though the ink has naturally worn off over time.
It has a beautiful patina and is in solid condition: no cracks, no keyhole. Hammering and lathing are consistent all around.
Sounds great and has a brighter, articulate stick definition, a clear cutting bell, and a medium-to-medium-heavy feel that gives good control without feeling stiff.
Selling because I’m narrowing down my cymbal collection.
Local meet/pickup preferred.
