This is the original 1990s release that preceded the famous "Perfect Pencil." Unlike the modern versions which are typically platinum-plated, this set is finished in genuine high-grade silver plating.
Set Includes:
The Cassette: Original natural wood presentation box with a heavy metal lid.
The Extender: A finely fluted silver-plated cap that doubles as a pencil lengthener and protector.
The Sharpener: Matching silver-plated sharpener component.
Collector’s Note: This "Nr. 1" set is famous for its elegant fluting and the double-crown logo on the cap. It is a must-have for any enthusiast of the Faber-Castell heritage.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition / Natural Patina "The set has been well-maintained and is in excellent functional order. As is common with genuine silver-plated items from the 90s, the metal has developed a natural vintage patina (darkening) over time.
Sharpener: The sharpener retains some darkening/tarnish within the fine grooves of the fluting. I have left this as-is to preserve the vintage character, but it can be further polished by the new owner if desired."
