Vintage Paolo Soprani button accordion in red pearloid finish, classic Italian build.
This instrument is fully playable and has recently received maintenance, but it is being sold as-is, ideal for a player, restorer, or collector who enjoys finishing an instrument properly.
Condition & Recent Work
• New bellows gasket installed – there is still a very minor air leak, but it does not prevent normal playing.
• Treble side serviced:
• Several buttons replaced
• Button action adjusted and working correctly
• Reeds are present and functional (no dead reeds), but:
• On the bass side, some reeds need re-waxing (visible in photos).
• C bass button cap is missing, but the original cap is included.
Playability
• The accordion is playable right now.
• Sound is good and responsive.
• Bellows hold air reasonably well despite the small leak.
• This is not a fully restored instrument, but a solid player with clear potential.
