All FGN guitars and basses come with an exclusive Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). It was created by FGN with the idea of offering better tone and articulation than conventional guitars and basses. All frets are installed on the fretboard in a slightly curved shape, so that each string crosses all frets at 90 degrees, i.e. to offer minimum string contact at one fret, and makes the scale length of each string even when it actually varies in conventional fretting. The C.F.S. is a solution for fretting on a traditional guitar and bass and offers clearer articulation and tones that give dimension when playing one string and also cuts through the mix when playing single notes.
Compound Radius Fretboard
The compound radius fingerboard has a smaller (rounder) radius towards the nut, while a larger (flatter) radius towards the end of the neck, i.e. similar to the shape of a cone. upper registers.
