THE SPECS (NO BARNEY RUBBLE):
The Size: 29" (The big cherries).
The Spokes: At least 32 per wheel. Don't bring me no 24-spoke rubbish, they'll go half-inch under my 140kg frame.
The Axles: QR (Quick Release) is a must (100mm front / 135mm rear).
The Rims: Double wall only. Need 'em thick and sturdy.
The Brakes: Centerlock.
The Cogs: Shimano HG for my 9-speed plates of meat.
LISTEN TO THIS: Even though I’m looking for a lovely jubbly deal, I’m ready to shell out some bees and honey (money) for the right set. And if you’ve got a whole bike with these specs gathering dust in your castle, I might be up for buying the entire thing!
