Iconic British turntable from the late 70s.
Fully manual - change speeds by changing the position of the belt drive below the plater.
Cosmetically in really good condition for age - dust cover is clear, no chips in the wooden surround, no scratches on the main plinth itself.
The arm is a little loose and would benefit from tightening. Also the anti-skate is not working. Both issues were there when I bought this about 5 years ago and have never caused me any pain when using :)
The cartridge is Rega Carbon. Again was there when I bought the deck and haven't had need to change it ... Might be worth replacing at some point (as with all cartridges)
Why am I selling ... It is my second Rega Planar 2 and my third turntable in total ... Sometimes you have to let somebody else appreciate these old stereo items.
