Offered for sale here is a framed original Cartier Pen magazine advertisement from 1979.
The text on the print reads:
Les must de Cartier
Paris
The beauty of its exclusive silhouette, its finish and its perfection, protected by international patents, give it the right to bear the name of the most illustrious of jewellers.
By pressing on the top of the cap, a clockwork mechanism of the pen resets on a lateral movement, out automatically, the clip opens up to the desired width.
By lifting the flap at the base of the pen the refill falls.
Cartier PEN
The Cartier pen has been created, designed and tested to meet the highest standards. Its total reliability is insured throughout the world by an international life long guarantee.
This print is more than 40 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
