It is not compatible with modern 4G LTE or 5G bands.Frequency Bands: Supported UMTS/HSPA bands include B1 (2100 MHz), B2 (1900 MHz), B8 (900 MHz), B19 (800 MHz), and B26 (850 MHz).Features: Integrated standalone GPS/GNSS capability, Intel Anti-Theft 3.0 support, and Wake-on-Wireless features.Hardware Compatibility & Device SparingThe "FRU PN: 04W3767" printed directly on the label is a Lenovo ThinkPad Field Replacement Unit (FRU) part number. This means this specific card is hardcoded to work natively within the BIOS whitelist of matching Lenovo laptops. It is primarily built for older laptop generations:Lenovo ThinkPad series: X220, X220 T, T420, T420s, T520, W520, L420, L520, and X1 Carbon (Early generations).Other Vendor Flavors: While generic versions or cross-flashed versions of this hardware exist for Panasonic Toughbooks, Dell (DW5550), or Toshiba laptops, this particular FRU card will trigger an "Unauthorized Network Card" BIOS error if plugged into non-Lenovo computers without a custom, unlocked BIOS.Driver Download DirectoryBecause of the age of this module, modern operating systems like Windows 10 and 11 often bundle standard generic drivers or manage them automatically via Windows Update. If you are setting it up manually on legacy operating systems, use the official vendor packages below:For Lenovo Laptops: You can find the package directly via the official Lenovo Support Mobile Broadband Driver Hub.Alternative Downloads: If your deployment requires alternative vendor configurations or generic deployment stacks, review instructions hosted on the Panasonic Toughbook F5521gw Support Directory.
