This AMD version of the ThinkPad L14 is significantly more powerful than the intel versions and the heatsink is of much better quality. The cooling system being better means that the processor is able to stay well below its thermal limit while achieving much better performance than the intel CPUs.
8GB RAM should be enough for those who only do light browsing. If you like to have many programmes and tabs open, I recommend upgrading to 16GB. It is also possible to upgrade to 512GB of storage if you know that you will need to save many large files onto this laptop. I have fully refurbished and reset everything, including cleaning all dust out of the fans & vents, and applying new thermal paste. Latest version of Windows 11 Pro installed and fully updated with all of the most recent drivers, as well as the newest BIOS version.
There are some very minor signs of use on the case, but none of which affect the computer’s performance. If you’re in Jyväskylä, you are very welcome to come and try it before you buy it!
