THE UNIVERSAL COMPRESSOR

The elysia xpressor 500 features fully discrete class-A topology for pristine audio quality. Capable of delivering a clear, open and punchy sound, the xpressor 500 shines in many different applications. Dial in a solid low-end, blend in aggressive parallel compression on the drum bus, make your synths stab through the speakers, or glue your mix together with subtle bus compression — the xpressor 500 can do it all and then some.

ROBUST FEATURE SET

The xpressor 500 is equipped with key features from many of elysia’s flagship products, allowing for an unprecedented amount of control. The xpressor 500 features an Auto Fast Attack setting which shortens the attack time automatically on fast and loud transients, and then returns to the value set with the controller—perfect for controlling performances with unruly dynamics.

The expresser 500 also includes an option for “Log Release”, which uses a logarithmic release curve that instead of the standard linear curve for a softer, smoother form of compression.

Warm Mode offers an alternative sonic character by altering its frequency spectrum, harmonics and transient response to emulate that of vintage analog signal processors. Use the Mix knob to dial in the perfect amount of parallel compression, or target specific frequencies using the Sidechain Filter.
