Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Volvo magazine advertisement from 1977.
The text on the print reads:
It takes more than just money to buy a Volvo 264.
There are so many expensive, powerful cars around these days that the problem isn't finding one, but choosing one.
To make it even harder, the real qualities in the Volvo 264 don't even show.
Volvo safety, for instance. The roof-and door-reinforcement is invisible. And hopefully you'll never discover that the front is designed to absorb 80% more collision-energy than U.S. Safety Standards require.
Volvo reliability is also hard to see.
You would have to pull the car apart to find those vital areas where a Volvo 264 has added strength or has been specially corrosion-proofed to Volvo standards.
And the Volvo engine is difficult to hear.
The 6 cylinders will give you the safety of power with a commendable silence: only 72 decibels behind the wheel at 110 km/hour.
The Volvo 264 comfort is easier to appreciate. Power-steering, thermostatically controlled ventilation and, of course. the famous Volvo seats in leather or plush.
But don't regard these features as comfort only. They are details designed to minimize driving strain and increase safety.
Details that give the Volvo 264 extra value. Without them it would just be expensive.

This print is almost 50 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I can post via Toridilli or you can pickup from Jätkäsaari or Punavuori - whatever suits you best.
