Framed 1976 Vintage Pentax KX Camera Original Magazine Advertisement (ID: Pentax12)
Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Pentax KX Camera magazine advertisement from 1976.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
See the future in our viewfinder.
The Pentax KX is a new through-the-lens metering single-lens-reflex camera with a full information viewfinder. If you need to know vital information about the picture you're taking, you can see it without taking the camera from your eye. You actually see your picture before you take it. And you see a lot more. Our convenient matching needle system can be noted on the right side of the viewfinder. And even your choice of aperture, down to the half-stop, is constantly visible in a little window at the top of the viewfinder. Features like this will improve your photographic creativity. Because they give you more time to focus, compose and release the shutter. Actually, the uncommon thing about all Pentax K series cameras is the way they're designed to help you take better pictures. They use a silicon photo diode in the exposure meter that responds instantly to light level changes. This leads to perfect exposure. No other SLR has a more intelligent, easy to use bayonet lens mount. Or such a slim, good feeling body design. Or such an advanced line of interchangeable lenses. Try the KX and see how it outperforms any other camera in its class. It's the future of fine photography.
ASAHI PENTAX KX From the family of the world's best selling cameras.
Asahi Pentax cameras and lenses are guaranteed quality products of Asahi Optical Co., Ltd., Japan.
This print is more than 50 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
