Framed 1980 Vintage Fotomat Film Transfer Original Magazine Advertisement (ID: Fotomat1)
Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Fotomat magazine advertisement from 1980.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
How to get all of this... into this.
Every night, across the face of America, families gather 'round to relive happy memories with their home movies and slides. Only to wish they'd gone bowling instead. Projector malfunctions, collapsing screens, tangled film, jumbled slides, impatient tots... all contribute to the nagging question: is it really worth it? The answer is simple.
Fix it with tape.
Let Fotomat transfer all those movies and slides to convenient, compact, easy-to-handle, easy-to-watch videotape cassettes. Our technicians clean and lubricate your movie film, remove unexposed sections, and splice it together in the order you specify. Then we transfer the film to scratch-proof, fade-proof videotape on state-of-the-art electronic equipment that actually enhances and color-corrects the image and compensates for over and under exposure.
As for your slides, we carefully clean them and transfer them, dissolving smoothly from one slide to the next, in the sequence and at the time interval you choose.
How much?
Not much. In fact, we can transfer 400 feet of Super 8 movie film (about 27 minutes worth) for just $9.00 plus cassette. Or 100 35mm slides for just $10.00 plus cassette.
Ask for our free Film-To-Videocassette Transfer Kit, with all the details and complete instructions for ordering. You can order a kit by calling our special toll-free video line, 800-325-1111 (In Missouri, 800-392-1717.)
You can also pick up your kit at the most convenient place yet devised to meet your video needs: The Fotomat Store.

This print is more than 40 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
