Valmistaja kertoo:
The Renkus-Heinz IC16-R series represents a significant advancement in the field of digitally steerable line array loudspeaker systems. These systems are engineered to provide high-intelligibility audio in acoustically challenging environments, such as houses of worship, transportation hubs, and large auditoriums. The core technology, known as ICONYX, utilizes software-controlled Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to create multiple steerable beams from a single column, allowing sound system designers to precisely aim audio at the audience while minimizing reflections from reflective surfaces like walls and ceilings.
The IC16-R series is characterized by its use of 16 coaxial transducers, each paired with a triple-tweeter high-frequency array, which creates an "array within an array" design to ensure consistent horizontal dispersion and improved high-frequency performance. These units typically feature 8 or 16 channels of amplification and DSP, depending on the specific model configuration, and are effective at beam control down to 400Hz. The physical design is noted for being slim and low-profile, allowing for seamless integration into architectural spaces. Furthermore, these systems support the RHAON (Renkus-Heinz Audio Operations Network) protocol, which facilitates remote control and monitoring of the loudspeaker parameters. The technology has been deployed in high-profile locations globally, including the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and various international airports, demonstrating its reliability in demanding acoustic conditions.
