Valmistaja sanoo:
The AMX NetLinx NI-3100 is a sophisticated integrated controller engineered for the centralized management and automation of complex audiovisual, lighting, and environmental systems in both residential and commercial settings. At its core, the device utilizes a 32-bit processor architecture designed to handle multiple real-time tasks, ensuring the synchronization of diverse equipment protocols through a unified control platform.
The internal architecture of the NI-3100 is optimized for high-performance automation, featuring dedicated RAM for concurrent process execution and Flash memory for firmware and application storage. The controller is housed in a standard 19-inch rack-mount form factor, measuring approximately 1U in height (44–45 mm) and 140–160 mm in depth, with a total weight typically ranging between 1.5 kg and 2.15 kg. Power requirements for the unit are specified at 12Vdc.
Connectivity and communication are facilitated through a variety of interfaces, including serial ports (supporting RS-232 and RS-422), Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) for TCP/IP network integration, and multiple digital and analog I/O channels for sensor and relay interaction. The system also supports infrared (IR) signals for device control and allows for hardware scalability through expansion modules. Programming is performed using the proprietary NetLinx language, which provides the logic framework for coordinating complex event sequences. The device is built to comply with rigorous standards for electromagnetic compatibility and industrial operation, ensuring reliability in demanding environments.
