Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Rolex magazine advertisement from 1989.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
Once again, a Rolex proves to be invaluable on the ocean floor.
In this case, the ocean has long since disappeared. But the coral reefs that once grew beneath its waves have remained.
These reefs now form the Kimberley range in the far north of Western Australia.
It was here that Professor Andrew Goudie took a team of forty scientists representing many different disciplines.
Whilst the expedition members began their task of identifying and classifying the various flora, fauna and rock formations in the area, Professor Goudie's Rolex Explorer II underwent its own form of examination; for this vast project to be successful, radio schedules had to be kept and all movements most carefully and accurately co-ordinated.
Timing was all important. Needless to say, despite the searing heat and high humidity endured in the Kimberleys, Professor Goudie's Rolex performed perfectly throughout.
As one of the expedition's purposes was to rewrite geographical time itself, it is most gratifying that the Professor referred to his Explorer II as "an invaluable part of the project's field equipment."

This print is more than 30 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I much prefer to post your item(s) using ToriDiili. It’s quick (next day postage), cheap (roughly €5 for delivery of up to 10 items), safe (everything bubble-wrapped) and reliable (no appointments to keep). But if necessary, pickup from Jätkäsaari can be arranged between 5pm and 8pm.
