Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Olympus OM-1 Camera magazine advertisement from 1974.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
The world's smallest, lightest 35-SLR is more than the smallest, lightest 35-SLR in the world.
That's because it is part of the world's biggest, most comprehensive 35mm photographic system.
Five years ago, when the Olympus OM-1 project started, we had two main design objectives. The first was to create a 35-SLR camera meeting the highest optical and engineering standards, yet easier to handle and above all far smaller, lighter and quieter in operation than existing cameras of this type.
Our other target was designing an entire 35mm system of unprecedented versatility.
The measure of our success is a camera 35% lighter, 35% smaller, and with only about half the shutter noise of the average SLR. It is also a 280-piece system including 38 superb lenses, the world's lightest motor drive and an incomparable selection of macrophotographic and photometric equipment.
The Olympus OM-1 is proof that sometimes less can be more.

This print is more than 50 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I much prefer to post your item(s) using ToriDiili. It’s quick (next day postage), cheap (less than €5 for delivery of up to 10 items), safe (everything bubble-wrapped) and reliable (no appointments to keep). But if necessary, pickup from Jätkäsaari can be arranged between 5pm and 8pm.
