Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Rolex double-page magazine advertisement from 1997.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
It's surprising how deep an Oyster can go.
You're snorkelling. You take a deep breath and dive. How deep will you go? Three metres? Four? Five?
Or you could try your hand at scuba-diving. But don't expect your instructor to take you past 18 metres.
Even for the most accomplished recreational divers, 50 metres is regarded as the limit.
Yet every single Rolex Oyster, including the elegant Lady Datejust, is guaranteed waterproof down to 100 metres/330 feet.
While very few Rolex wearers indeed will ever venture this deep, for some professional divers depths of 100 metres may be routine.
Which is why Rolex developed the Submariner.
Like every Rolex Oyster, the seamless case of a Submariner is carved from a solid ingot of metal.
Its winding crown actually screws down on to the Oyster case to close as securely as the hatch of a submarine.
The result is a watch that is watertight to a depth that very few divers- and, for that matter, very few submarines - are ever likely to encounter: 300 metres/1,000 feet.
Yet there are some for whom even the Submariner's superlative waterproof qualities are not enough.
Hence the Rolex Sea-Dweller. This unique timepiece is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of no less than four thousand feet.
Wherever your next dive takes you - the deep end of the pool or the deep end of the ocean - you can be certain of one thing.

This print is more than 20 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new frame measures 41.2cm x 31.2cm x 1.0cm. Very close to A3 dimensions.
The print sits centered on an 40xm x 30cm sheet of Clairefontaine Maya 185gsm card stock and is held in place using two Goldbuch acid-free adhesives.
I much prefer to post your item(s) using ToriDiili. It’s quick (next day postage), cheap (roughly €5 for delivery of up to 10 items), safe (everything bubble-wrapped) and reliable (no appointments to keep). But if necessary, pickup from Jätkäsaari can be arranged between 5pm and 8pm.
