Framed 1984 Vintage Olympus OM-4 Camera Original Magazine Advertisement (ID: Olympus15)
Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Olympus OM-4 Camera magazine advertisement from 1984.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
Goodbye, Compromises.
Too often, photographers have to settle for results that are less than perfect. When the lighting is difficult, for example. Or when the picture-taking equipment doesn't live up to the picture-taker's vision.
But the new Olympus OM-4 changes all that.
With it, photography enters a new era of electronic sophistication. To enhance your creativity, not compromise it.
The auto/manual OM-4 features a remarkable new innovation – a built-in computerized "Multi Spot Meter" that measures light more accurately than any other camera or handheld spot meter.
Activated at the touch of a button, it automatically gives you spot readings for as many key areas of the composition as you need. For any shot, up to eight readings can be memorized, analyzed and calculated instantly to give you the ideal overall exposure – however you choose to portray the composition.
So now, you'll always get the shot the way you want it – even in the most difficult lighting situations. Without guesswork, bracketing or time-consuming manual spot meter readings.
The OM-4 has even more ways to make you more creative. Like automatic controls that let you accentuate highlights, concentrate on dark tones, or memorize the exposure setting for a whole series of shots. In addition, there's the incredible OM System – a fully interchangeable array of lenses, flashes, motor drives and other accessories enabling you to master any picture-taking situation.
The new Olympus OM-4.
The creative possibilities are staggering. And so are the results.
