Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Sony Television magazine advertisement from 1978.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
All colours are created equal. But all colour TV's are not.
Red is red. Blue is blue. Yellow is yellow. And mauve is mauve. But not on every colour TV. That's what makes the Sony Trinitron Plus unique in the world of colour television.
The reds are redder. The blues are truer. And the yellows, mauves, greens, oranges and flesh tones come out real.
What makes these sharp, brilliant pictures possible is a combination of Sony engineering advancements that truly set the Trinitron Plus apart from ordinary colour TV sets. First, there's the innovative "one gun, three beam concept" which, with a single large lens, keeps the picture sharp at all points on the screen.
Second, for unequalled brightness, the Aperture Grille colour selection system allows more electrons to reach and excite the phosphors on the screen.
And to keep the reds pure, the blues from overlapping into the yellow and the greens from mixing with the browns, the Trinitron Plus has another innovation. The screen itself is printed with black vertical stripes to keep colours separate and unequalled in sharpness.
This "Guard Grille" heightens the quality of contrast. Put all that together with Trinitron's other features - cylindrical screen, quick start econo-quick, and 114° wide angle deflection system - and you have a TV set truly equal to the colours it reproduces. But what else would you expect from Sony?

There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
